Edgar Allan Poe Inspired Raven On Skull Pencil Drawing

Edgar Allan Poe is well known for his rather dark and dreary look at life. His writings reflect his dark side as well as his terrible life growing up. I am a very big fan of his work, so much so that it inspired me to draw this picture of the raven ( from his popular work called "The Raven") on a skull. It's a very dark picture, helping to portray its drearyness, The raven is sitting atop the skull as the moon rises and shines behind him. The clouds hang low in the starless sky right in front of the full moon which lines them in silver light.
This picture was done in pencil.
